The "When I'm Ready" tortoise tee is built around Psalm 91:1-2 — whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty; I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. It's for the person who comes out of their shell on their own timeline, not everyone else's.
Psalm 91 opens with dwelling, not doing — the posture asked for is staying under shelter, not performing readiness on schedule. The refuge is available the whole time someone's still working up to stepping out.
This design speaks to the slow-to-warm, needs-more-time soul — the one who feels pressure to be further along, braver, more "out there" by now, and is quietly still not ready, maybe Tuesday. She's not stalling; she's sheltering.

Mending My Faith started because I needed a shirt that felt like the inside of my own head — a little anxious, a little tired, still holding onto faith even when it wasn't pretty or put-together. I'm a mom of three, caring for aging parents, running this business mostly from my kitchen table, and most days I'm somewhere between "I've got this" and "please, God, help me." Every design we make starts there — with something true, not something that just sounds nice on a t-shirt.
